Chip and Dip Bowl Pottery Workshop £98

WHAT TO EXPECT

A relaxed beginner friendly workshop where you will learn pottery wheel throwing while creating a practical chip and dip bowl. Lucy will guide you step by step beginning with a demonstration before you work on the wheel yourself in a supportive and welcoming studio environment.

  • 2 hour pottery wheel throwing session at Maws Craft Centre

  • Light and airy studio environment

  • Your own pottery wheel and specialist tools

  • Unlimited clay

  • In depth demonstrations and guidance

Techniques Covered

  • Centring and controlling clay

  • Shaping the chip and dip bowl

  • Smoothing and refining the form

  • Your favourite piece will be twice fired and glazed in a colour of your choice

What to bring

An apron and old towel stroke tea towel for drying hands and wheel head alternatively you can hire an apron and towel bundle at check out for £5 

Wear comfortable clothing that can get a little messy, and keep your nails short!
