You can book directly via the website. Full payment is required to secure your place.

Gift vouchers can be redeemed against any workshop or experience on the website. They are valid for 12 months from the date of issue and are non-refundable. Enter the voucher code at checkout when booking your chosen experience.

Comfortable clothing that can get a little messy, short nails, and enthusiasm to learn. We provide aprons and towels; these can also be hired for £5.

Your unique pieces are carefully twice-fired and glazed, making them safe to use for food and drink for you to enjoy and cherish forever. They are usually ready for collection 3–4 weeks later, or they can posted at an additional cost.

Yes, children aged 13+ can take part with parental supervision. Children 7+ are encouraged to enjoy hand-building activities as an alternative.

Workshops typically run Friday to Sunday. Evening courses take place on Wednesday and Thursday. The workshop is open for visitors from Thursday to Sunday 9.30am - 4.30pm

Yes! Parking is free at the Maws Craft Centre car park.

Refreshments aren’t provided during workshops unless otherwise stated. You’re welcome to bring a drink in a lidded cup, but please avoid bringing food. There is a cafe at The Maws Craft Centre.

Participants must follow instructions, tie back long hair, remove jewellery, and keep nails short to avoid injury. Children must be supervised, and parental consent must be required for younger participants to use the pottery wheel.

Unfortunately, space is limited, and for safety reasons they cannot use the equipment unless booked for the session. Alternatively, they can explore other makers at Maws Craft Centre or enjoy a hot drink at the on-site café while the session runs.

More than 14 days’ notice: reschedule or receive a credit voucher minus £10 admin fee.
7–14 days’ notice: 50% of the fee is retained.
Less than 7 days / no-show: no refund or credit.
If we cancel a session, you can choose a full refund, an alternative date, or a credit voucher.

Yes! We can accommodate groups of 6–12 participants per session (6 on wheels + 6 hand-building), with rotation for larger groups or on-site hand-building at your location.

Yes. Sessions can be customised to suit corporate team-building, educational goals, or group celebrations.

Yes, a hire bundle is available for £5.

While every piece is handled and fired with great care, ceramics can be unpredictable, and we cannot guarantee all items will survive the kiln process.

Yes, for marketing and social media purposes. Participants may opt out if they prefer not to be photographed.
