Independent Wheel Throwing Practice Session● £20
WHAT TO EXPECT
These sessions are designed exclusively for potters who have completed the five week beginners course and want to continue practising and developing their wheel throwing skills. Focus on centring, pulling up and creating your own forms at your own pace in a relaxed and supportive studio environment.
What’s included
Your own pottery wheel for the full duration of the session, with plenty of time to practise and create at your own pace
Use of studio tools and unlimited clay throughout the session
Time to build on the key skills learned during the 5 Week Beginners Course, including centering, pulling up, and shaping forms
Freedom to create your own wheel-thrown pieces in a relaxed and supportive studio environment
Optional firing available for any pieces you’d like to keep, charged separately based on weight
What to bring
An apron and old towel / tea towel for drying hands and wheel head alternatively you can hire an apron and towel bundle at check out for £5
Wear comfortable clothing that can get a little messy, and keep your nails short!
