Explore Lucy’s studio ceramics

Alongside teaching workshops, Lucy creates a collection of handmade ceramics from her studio at Maws Craft Centre in Ironbridge.

Each piece is carefully thrown on the pottery wheel using stoneware clay, with handles shaped and attached by hand and glazes mixed from raw materials to create rich, distinctive finishes. Every item is twice fired in the kiln to ensure it is durable, food safe and made to be used and enjoyed.

The collection features everyday cups and bowls, distinctive tankards, and functional pieces, all crafted using traditional pottery techniques with a contemporary feel. Many items are one-of-a-kind or made in limited runs, making them thoughtful gifts or unique additions to any home.

My love of combining print onto ceramics incorporates elements of graphic print with traditional hand-thrown soft curves; creating soft, tactile curves that feel comfortable in the hand.

Visitors are welcome to explore the current studio collection in person or browse available pieces online.
